Alex M. Smith, Jr., 90, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Fayetteville, Georgia. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
My deepest condolences to Alex's family. He was such a special man, a true southern gentleman. I am blessed to have known him and to have had the pleasure of working with him for many years. He will be missed.
